The Five Mindsets of Wealth

A Wealth Magnet is what Dan Kennedy describes as someone who does not try to work for every penny they earn since in this day and age not every hard worker is compensated fairly. Rather, Kennedy teaches us to become someone that attracts the opportunities that lead to wealth.

1) Understand that wealth is unlimited.

Some people may harbor guilt over earning money. But person A earning money does not necessarily mean that person B loses money. For example, the US printed over $146 billion dollars worth of bills last year. On top of that, most transactions today are digital! That means banks can now loan more money than they physically have.

People will always have money for what they want. Even if they don't, they find a way to pay it off by signing off on a loan for example.

And lastly, you are not taking their money for nothing! They pay money in exchange for a good or service you provide.

In short: there is no need to feel guilty about earning money.

2) You will not get what you deserve.

You get what you negotiate. There are many talented people who probably deserve wealth and notoriety for their craft. However, they will never get it just by being good. The market follows a non-judgmental force. Kennedy says great talent or even being a great person is not enough. It is people that have great contacts, relationships, and opportunities that win.

3) Mindset Matters

Just like how positive affirmations have proven to be effective, so has negative language. Repeat something enough and your brain will start to believe it.

Kennedy explains that the term "hard earned money" could influence how you view earning money. Working harder is not the same as working smarter.

Kennedy gives us an example of a chiropractor who tried to expand his business by opening up multiple locations. He ended up with triple the amount of work and less pay. However, when he began franchising his business instead, he did not have nearly as much work and went from having a hard earned six figure salary to a (somewhat) breezy seven figure salary.

In short, think smart not hard.

4) Social Media is a tool. Use it.

The term celebrity has evolved over the years. Now it is much more inclusive than just A-list Hollywood celebrities. Now anyone with a smart phone and a bit of dedication can become an influencer. Influencers then have a world of opportunities to collab with businesses or even start off their own on the right foot.

5) Make connections happen.

Making connections and networking as always been difficult. You have to be the right person at the right time in the right place. And even if you were all those things, you may not be successful! Now however, with everything being online you can now take your time finding your niche and finding people within that niche that you connect with! Start a conversation and watch as your relationship blossoms.

We'll leave you off with this question:

If you had everything you need to start, what business would you launch?
